Strange Hissing Noise

When I got to work this morning, I heard a hissing noise coming from the front left. I thought it was the tire, but it wasn't, the sound was coming from under the hood. It was louder after opening the hood, still coming from front left. Sounded like something was sizzling on the exhaust. And then it became increasingly intermittent, like something really was dripping onto the exhaust and boiling off. But I saw nothing. Thwre was nothing on the exhaust, nothing dripping onto the ground. After a few minutes it stopped. I'm rather baffled by this.

Possible water trapped and your air pumps running too much, or its hissing cause it's leaking???

If you're referring to the air ride suspension, not sure that's the cause. I have it on a manual bypass switch, so it doesn't operate automatically. But now that you mention it, I'm thinking maybe it's the air bag solenoids, or related. The rear end was low the other day, so I fired up the compressor, and it already looks like it may have dropped. I'll take a closer look when I get back outside.

Did a quick check. The sound made by air being released from the air suspension is significantly different and much more quiet than what I heard after parking the car.

I haven't heard the sound again. Don't know if it was a one-time thing or not.
