When i traded the 03MM for the 04, I expected the same performance shifting patterns and performance that i had with the 03..What I found was mushy shifts, not as firm as the 03..This was with the same mods, and the stage 1 Reinhart equipment..After some phone calls to Dennis he came through for me,once again, with a new program for the SCT that is working out great for me..Thanks Dennis for all your time, and trouble...I'm not sure what this new program is but you can contact Dennis for the info...I just wanted to post this if anybody else is having the same trouble, I was close to trading the car for something else....Now I'm happy again !!!!!!!!!

I used to have a 2000 Crown Vic with the performance and handling package(still in the family), and my 04 Marauder does seem to have mushy shifts in comparison. I wonder why Ford did that? If they want people to notice smoother shifts that are less detectable, perhaps they forgot this is more of a performance oriented car.........

The old Vic was just amazing when it would nail off the WOT 1-2 upshift which stock could kinda pin you into the seat. I'm going to be getting a tuner soon, so I can't wait to have my car shifting like it should be shifting..............
