Has anyone already researched the correct Colorbond color for the dash plastic and gauge pod on a 2004 w/light flint interior. There are several colors very close. My guess is Medium Flint.

Not being funny here:D

You do know light flint cars have the same color gauge pod and dash trim

He asked for the color of those parts, not the light flint colored a b c upper console third brake light etc

You are correct. Colorbond 327 is more of a black and not the med gray I'm looking for.

I did and the colors suggested aren't what I have. I believe it is Medium/Dk Flint. I was hoping someone had already worked this out.

OP, take a few pictures of the interior parts that you need painted. The parts you listed are the same color for all Marauders and is a dark charcoal color not light flint.

This is a first. The first time I've been replied to in 3rd person on a thread post.

Our MM has a med gray painted dash and pod and not a charcoal black color. I bought the Colorbond 327 and SEM 15303 and they aren't even close to being the correct color.

It looks like this has been a failed attempt at saving some research time and buying multiple cans of the wrong paint.

Back to the drawing board. :woohoo:

PS. Nowhere did I say I was trying to paint anything LT Flint. Just stating what interior the car came with.

Well not stirring the pot, but if your looking for dark charcoal why even mention light flint in your now edited posts?

You edited your posts, now adding medium flint and medium charcoal?????????

Yup, confused much?

Don't go by the name of the color, go with what matches best

Look at the other thread, you can see what colors I used and how badly they matched too

Between you and I we have tried 4 colors and they are way off

Never said I was looking for dark charcoal.

Not stirring the pot? I'm not the one with the stick.

Mentioned the Lt. Flint interior color in case there is a difference in trim paint colors. I wouldn't know----no black interior MM's to compare to here.

I only edit posts to correct grammar errors or clarify spelling for better comprehension.

Confused? Only by the childish replies here.

Obviously going by what matches, but we have to call it something to keep order. Rock 1. rock 2, rock 3---whatever works.

This afternoon, with the help of a paint executive, I've found the correct paint color.

Gathering the m-asses to reach a helpful solution hasn't been particularly successful with this thread.

Can't you just walk into a paint supply house and order it off the paint code?
