Reische Performance FORD-4D 170° Thermostat and Tune?

Long story but I'm having my thermostat replaced.

I asked for the Reische Performance 170 degree thermostat and was told that it could effect the tune (I have a Lidio 93 octane tune).

Is this something that anyone has heard of?

I know that Reische recommends having your tune adjusted for the fan to come on at a lower temperature, not aware of anything other than that ?

They said if you go with the 170 stat you have to programmed your fan timing in the tune! That what I heared I could be wrong though! or you can go with 180 Stant #14138 for 8$ rather than 60$ and call it a day.

That stat fully opens at around 192
The Reische is the best, but the fan settings should be changed

All you had to do was google "reische performance" the information on what changes to the tune are very easy to find.
