Has anybody figured out how to get the old Ford service CD's to run on Windows 10? I can get the mechanical information from the CD, but the electrical wiring diagrams in Scalable Vector Graphics format (.SVG files) don't want to display in tsobrowser.exe. Apparently the .SVG file format is no big deal, viewable in any modern browser. But Ford's version seems to cause the browser to display only the code in text.

It works after a reboot. Nothing like old software and new computers. Here is a nice utility (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/run_as_date.html) so you don't have to change the date on the PC back to 2004.

Windows 10 is riddled with built in spyware. Cortina records all the time. Microsoft store is a joke, there are key loggers recording everything you type...
Best bet is to downgrade to windows 7.

Nearly everything you mentioned can be turned off, which I have done. Although I am as disturbed as anybody by this Microsoft attempt, AppleGoogle have been up to these tricks for a long time. M$ is not the worst offender. Sticking with an old OS is a losing battle.
Can't print the wiring diagrams from within TSObrowser using windows 10, gives a script error. It is possible to go into folder tsocache and use an online conversion tool to turn it into a PDF, or just print a screenshot. Inconvenient to say the least, but I can still read the $%@! wiring diagrams.

Take a look in task manager - Cortina I bet is still running, I had to rename folder it lives in, wait to click try again, right after killing the process - just so It would not run.
10 offers no real advantage over 7, except all the extra bloatware they give you.
You can try setting the program to run in compatability mode to see if that helps.
