Thinking of a Water/Meth injection!

Hello everyone

I'm thinking of doing a Water/Meth injection but I need your help guys which is better to select from (AEM (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GSBRUP8/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A291WW88PVI43Q) or Snow Performance (http://www.ebay.com/itm/SNOW201-PERFORMANCE-STAGE-1-WATER-METHANOL-INJECTION-BOOST-COOLER-KIT-SNO201-NEW-/271982598583?hash=item3f536d19 b7:g:PVUAAOSwTapV51L5&vxp=mtr)) both stage 1
So I got couple of questions to ask.

Is there any specific kit for our Engine or Cobra Eaton?
Where the nozzle should be installing since i'm doing an Eaton swap
Should I put one nozzle after the MAF and one inside the Lower intake manifold?
So what kind of switch do i need? in AEM they use MAP switch and in Snow they use boost switch?
And how hard to tune it or adjusting it?
What if I run dry is it risky or can damage the Engine?
Can I use the Windshield washer fluid since it's hard to get juice or Methanol here?
Is it hard to try installing it by myself?

So I need your thought gentlemen and I know some people didn't get any benefits or not worth it but I need it for cleaning and rise the fuel octane a bit also to cool down the temp.

I have a used Alkycontrol kit I bought awhile back and never got around to installing and quite frankly don't need. Plus four gallons of boost juice I ordered.

As for your questions, I haven't a clue as I never looked into it. To me it's just a box of "foreign to me auto parts" taking up shelf space.. LOL

Julio Don is the owner/maker of http://www.alkycontrol.com best kits I've ever used

His kits are quality, and justbobs price is way too cheap

You will not need a 3 bar map if your staying under 15 psi

I'd get it tuned with whatever percentage of water to meth, then never deviate from that

Thank you for your clarification but I heared if you tune it then you well relay on it and once you go dry you'll have a lot of problems! but if you don't tune it you'll run REACH! that's why i'm confuse and I have a lot of misinformation :(

I have the alky control on my Lincoln and we couldn't dial it in properly because it's so difficult to make adjustments to.

This kit was installed on a Mustang, hoses are plenty long but I'm sure the tank will not fit. It is included to do whatever you want however.

Pull 30% fuel at wide open throttle for the added amount of pure meth, I tune buicks not fords so I'm no help here

The easiest way to do it is use your wide band, spray certain amount of meth pressure and make the ecu tune it to 11.2 air fuel

You can slow down or speed up the pump timing to hit max pressure via the box numbers, and you can change hago fittings if you want to creep up on amounts of meth shot into the motor.

Keep in mind you need to burn most of the meth, I run 3 times the amount of meth one car, than most Buick guys do. It's fast

Just think of it this way. That meth is a fuel, either turn the boost up like 8 psi or pull a bunch of fuel out of the injectors to make the air fuel correct

That or add timing and boost, pull injector pulse width and adjust with amounts sprayed into the motor

There's even 2 wires to touch together on a switch so you shut off the pump, just for your tuner can't pull enough fuel down low for you to build boost,.. Turbo cars

They work seem less on buicks so.......

I put my Alky Control Kit on my Buick 11 years ago and have never had an issue. Cannot speak for the Fords.

Please use rubber gloves when handling methanol , you will go blind if you absorb enough

Turbo car = 5-10 degrees below ambient temp

Heat soaked blower that's above 140 ish? That alone tells you something

I did the installation my self, took me around 6 hours with some breaks in between.

I used the Snow kit back when my Mustang was Supercharged. I preferred the boost sensitive kit. No issues. I also used zero below windshield washer fluid with no issues

Why you use windshield fluid? I heard it's not safe or not good, Also in your place the methanol is available and i think it's a 7$ !!! please correct me if i'm wrong.
But here it's hard to find methanol as it's from alcohol group and my country is very restricted about it, Anyway I work on a Laboratory and I maybe can analyze and extract the Meth percentage in these kind of fluid but it's a little bit hard.
If I find a good Meth percentage let's say 45% or plus definitely I'll use it.

BTW what kind of S/C is on your mustang? is it a PD blower? did you dyno it before and after?

Here in the states they put a percentage of methanol in the windshield wiper fluid to keep it from freezing. Some range from 30-50% methanol

I buy methanol for 2.00 per gallon at the race fuel shop, every time I show up they ask if I'm a window installer????

So, do you guys get gas line anti freeze over there? Most of that stuff is 99.9% methanol. Just look up the msds sheet on it
