I noticed my car has hooks for a luggage net in the trunk. Were these nets generic? Something I could find online? Or, did they have some sort of Marauder or Mercury emblem on them?
I'm interested in one if they are Mercury specific.
Thanks!

CV and GM has them..not sure if standard or part of an option. they are on ebay and I'm sure members here have some. I may have one, I think I kept one form my CV sport.. There are no logos onthem.

Mine came with the Trunk Organizer but no Cargo Net when I bought original in 2003. Never got around to ordering one from FLAPS. All the MMs have the hooks for the net. No net is even mentioned on the window sticker.

No net is even mentioned on the window sticker. It was probably available from one of those "accessories for your Ford" brochures for double the cost elsewhere...

Looked on the Ford Etis site and saw mine came with one. I'll probobly look on a accessories site and find one. Might try the classifieds on here.
Thanks for the info.

When I picked up my Taurus SHO, the floor mats, cargo net, and other smaller accessory items were all in separate plastic bags in the trunk. I imagine that those loose items are quite pilferable. I don't recall any plastic bags in the trunk of the Marauder and all of the accessory items and mats were installed.

The cargo net was standard on (at least) the 2003 A cars. If you opted for the trunk organizer the cargo net got deleted. I know this because I discussed it with the salesman when I ordered my car.
I think I read where the net was cost eliminated from later models, but I'm not sure about that.

Both 2003 300a I have have the net and the bigggg round plastic nubs the net attaches to
Both 2004s do not have nets, or the big nubs
I checked most makes and models for those plastic nubs, none are very close at the bone yard
Does anyone have a part number for the net to use at green sales?

I emailed them about it but looking at their site I doubt they rarely check their email. Just my opinion. Haven't heard back.
Most likely an older one on one phone call type of company , which isn't all bad. I work around some guys who won't touch a computer because they cant find the pull rope. lol.

The part number for the 2004 Marauder Cargo Net is 1W7Z-5455066-AA. This is a discontinued item, however looks like there is a couple on EBAY.
I do not know if the nubs that it attaches to are separate items or comes with the net.
I have attached a "Part Number and Price List 2004 Accessories" that I had downloaded a long time ago. I have edited this file to only include the Marauder, Grand Marquis, and Lincoln. The original file has all of the models for 2004. If anyone wants a copy of the original file please let me know your email address as the file is to large to upload.
All I found a copy of the "Part Number and Price List 2003 Accessories" if anyone would like a copy of it let me know.
Is there any place on the forum that items like this can be posted?

Not so sure about that, my car came with the trunk organizer AND the cargo net.
It was tucked up behind the full size spare on the shelf. Didn't even know I had it till I took the spare out one day about two years after I had already owned the car.

It's kind of funny, but the stock numbers for the 03 and 04 Marauder cargo nets are different. Looking at some of the cross-references for the two part numbers it is stated that the two are not interchangeable. Of course this is looking at some of the ford parts stores, E-Bay, and other online sites, wouldn't put a whole lot of faith in it. Looked at my 04 and it has the holes. Will have to look at my 03 Grand Marquis' net and nubs. I really would not think there is a difference other than years. Maybe the nubs are a different color. :D

Does anyone know if the nubs come with the cargo net. I remember when I bought the GM the net was still in the bag and I installed it, but that was darn near 13 years ago. My feeble old brain doesn't remember if the nubs were on the car or in the bag.. :o

It contained (( Net / 2 Screws / 2 nubs ))

You can find the replacement nubs in a previous post I did.
I've replaced them a few times.
The newest version should not break.
