Hey ya'll! Just joined last night - I bought my new '04 on Wednesday and found enough time not driving it to log on & log in. I've already noticed two things about this group: first, a lot of you here really know your stuff on the Marauders and automotive performance in general, and second, anyone that has a question seems to get a good response with well thought out replies and no 'flaming' (i.e. 'That's the dumbest thing I ever heard", etc.). Good groups like this are hard to find; I think I'm going to like it here.

I made a note in my garage about putting up a list of every available aftermarket part for the Marauder, and wanted to post a thread here regarding the same. I would like to get everyone's help and advice to assemble this and would be glad to host the list on my website with a link here on mm.net. Selfishly, I want to know what's out there for my car, and moreover, I figure I'm not the only guy (or gal) that would like to have a complete categorized list to find that next addition to my already perfect car.

If you find a minute, email anything you can about what's out there, who makes it, where to get it, pricing, contact/website information, etc. - anything you can and I'll get started right away. Thanks in advance, and, on a side note, can we have Marauderville III in Texas again? I can't make it this year but would love to meet everybody for a beer and a healthy dose of talking about how good we used to be (well, me anyway; you may still be good!)

BTW, the email address temporarily is micaracing_32@hotmail.com.

Thanks,
Michael Floyd

There used to be a list of OEM part numbers on here somewhere. I can't find it right now or I'd post the link.
A list of aftermarket MM parts would be kinda neat.

BTW, welcome to the site !!

This really is a cool place with really good people. As a newbie, here's some things you need to know about the site to maximize your pleasure:
1) It's Logan's house- wipe your feet.
2) Todd and Marty are KIDDING- they are great friends who have a bizarre way of expressing their genuine, mutual fondness.
3) Bunny can help you with any computer question and maintains a great member list.
4) Don't post things like "What oil is best?", " Is your exhaust loud?", "Are they really going to stop making the Marauder?" without searching the site first.
5) James is a kid (his verbal skills will fool you)- don't offer to buy him beer.

LOL Thanks for the tips, I think I can handle those rules. Can I at least ask what color neon looks best around the license plate frame? BTW, where is this 'Chuck's' you speak of? I kind of know my way around the Metroplex, but I'll need a little help like cross-streets or an address - sounds like a blast & I'd like to meet everyone.

Wow, another Marauder in TX--Just a quick note to give you info on Chuck's, Grapevine. Go to "Forums" scroll down to "Regional Clubs" down to "North Texas Marauders" All the info is there including a crude map--(maybe I should post GPS coordinates??)Briefly--Intersection of Hwy 114 and Hwy 26 (Grapevine Hwy)--across from Baylor Hospital in Target Shopping Center parking lot--first entrance past westbound 114 access road--had 14 Marauders last month---come join us--register in the "Mercury Marauder" class---the hamburgers and shakes are good and the car folks are the best--hope to see you Saturday  Maury

I have found that just reading other member's signatures has been pretty useful for giving me ideas and inspiration for what is available for the Marauder. Failing that, just drop a line...

Great idea...I've started putting together a list from that and I'll try to have something together within a few weeks. Once it's posted, anyone with any feedback or products I miss feel free to drop me a line - I'd like for us all to have access to a full list of every available part with links to buy them - it would make shopping & dreaming easier!

Thanks so much to everybody for the warm welcome. I'm trying to move my schedule around to make the meet at Chuck's tomorrow, but I have a lot of work to finish so I won't know until tomorrow around lunch if I'll make it. I WILL see you all soon though!

If I can get my hands on a clean 152 soon, we'll have to take a short hop for one of those $100 hamburgers! Thanks for the directions - hope I can make it tomorrow.

Thanks again everybody - ya'll are way too kind to a schmuck like me. I won't be able to make it to Chuck's tonight, but now that I'm learning my way around the forums, I know where to find the events, and I'll be making a lot of them soon. And hey, if there's nothing going on one weekend, maybe a Houston meet...
