Does anyone know what other center caps fit our wheels?

I'm installing Marauder wheels on my other Lincoln Town car.
I don't want to use the center caps for obvious reasons.

Has anyone used caps from a different make'model with success?
I want to modify them with a Lincoln logo.

Hmmm. Maybe the Fords work in the MM wheels, but not vice versa.

FYI, the God's head logo on the center caps can be peeled off and then you can stick another logo in its place.

Best bet is to measure the diameter then go Ebay or junkyard hunting.

If you can get a plain flat cap in there, you can order a set of Lincoln Mark Vii center cap stickers from Baker's Auto...black surround with a silver Lincoln emblem...

Ford used that same wheel bore diameter for many wheels, however the land that the legs of the cap set into are at two different depths. You'll find discussion about that when someone got a Mustang wheel that looks like the Marauder wheel. Put the Marauder cap on the Mustang wheel and the cap will stand proud of the wheel surface instead of being flush.

Wheels with the deep land, Marauder, 04 and earlier Mustang. Wheels with the shallow land 05+ Mustang and CV LX sport. If you look at the picture of the wheel with the LX Sport cap you'll see it is recessed in the bore.

So you want center caps from a 04 or older Mustang, I know from experience that the ones used on the Mach 1 and Bullit wheels will work and fit flush like these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1999-2000-2001-2002-2003-2004-Ford-Mustang-GT-Pony-Center-Cap-NO-RESERVE-/401151373222?hash=item5d667c2f a6:g:GcIAAOSwygJXgaCY&vxp=mtr Though Ford also had ones with the Cobra, SVT or Ford Racing that will also fit and sit flush.

So I went out and tried one of the aftermarket blank CV LX Sport caps on a Marauder wheel and it was just a hair too big to fit in properly. If you pull off the aluminum cap or maybe sand it a bit it will probably work. It is interesting in that I have used those caps on 05+ Bullitt wheels.

I also popped in a genuine 04- Bullitt cap in there and took a couple of pictures.

I have a set of black cobra snake center caps which are a perfect fit. Not sure which year cobra they are from but they have the exact same retention sizing/design as Marauder but stick out just a touch more than perfect.

I bought a set of no logo smooth caps off Ebay for $40 brand new. They look good, and you wouldn't know that they weren't factory if you didn't know what you were looking for.

I remember seeing a local member using SVT center caps. Looked good to me. I was thinking of doing that myself with an extra set of caps I had, but ended up selling off the caps instead.
