I was seeing Chris at ADTR.NET new. Front and rear Coil Over kits. For Crown Victoria Grand Marquis and Mercury Marauder. With Air Bags or with out Air bags. I was looking at the kit. And it looks legit too me. I will be buying a set. For my 04 DTR Mercury Marauder. And Chris is a good guy. That treated me like I was family. When I bought my Stage 2 ADTR V-3 POLISHED VORTECH. SUPERCHARGER KIT. So I will be check him out soon.

My car runs super redmercy04. Chris at ADTR treats his customers like family. No jerking people around. Like other shops do. I waited 6 weeks for my kit. And every week he would. Let me know what was going on.

So your saying it is cheaper. To buy them from Ridetech Rubbercityrauder ?

for just the front coil overs and rear shocks, yes it is cheaper, based on the numbers I know..If he is adding in brackets etc. for non rear air suspension then that's different. You have to know what you are looking for at Ridetech. They don't show anything exactly for "Mercury Marauder" but they do show 2003+ Crown Victoria (same thing). Rear shocks are a simple measurement from mount to mount when car is at ride height. Chris has that figured out already as once again Ridetech does not show any rear shock specifically.

Nothing wrong with ADTR/Chris..He has to make a living and most people are not familiar with ridetech and l like one stop shopping. And Chris knows panthers

Two members here have 3 marauder with ridetech front coil overs bought before Chris listed them.

It's all personal preference, one stop shopping or do the research.

I told Chris to be quiet and take my money. I have spent a big chunk. With the Stage 2 ADTR V-3 Vortech Supercharger kit. With all the coating and on and on. Addco front sway bar. Mine already had the rear. Also the CHE upper and rear control arms. And there watts link arms too. So I also have the complete set of Aeromotive Fuel rails with all the fittings and hardware. I still haven't install. For I ran out of money. Because Dan at Real Speed wanted to charge me $600 bucks more. On top of what he charged me. For the installation and dyno tune. So I am going to say up. For the Coil over front and back kit. Chris is selling hey he has to pay bills like all of us. He treat me right. And like family. Plus he paid to have the sides of my intercooler. To be polished to a chrome like shine. I paid for everything else. So if it is few more bucks. I understand but he has the kit. For airbags or non Airbags rear suspension. Will get it soon. Chris is a serious man. That is not a jerk. Or ****s you around. Like other shops. And other so called companies do.

In short, "Chris is a good guy, knows and loves our cars, developed the Vortech kits for our cars, and while maybe not an approved vendor here is an asset to our passion with these cars."

Has anyone tried the Naake setup? I've heard mixed reviews. Cats says their ride dropped over a certain amount of time. Could be a thing with spring rates, maybe. I'm throwing every suspension mod they make for the Marauder. Deciding which coil over kit would be better.

Here are a couple brake, tire and suspension threads. Penske coilovers are less than $4K for 7500DA, JRI can be more, depends on which model you get. Most people run coilovers in the front, separate spring in the rear (air or coil).

Without more shock damping you can't use more front spring, these cars do really well with more front spring. Rear is a little quirky as the 4-link binds more with urethane bushings, but it can be made to work.

Penske and JRI are true rebuildable, adjustable race car shocks with optional pistons to suit any application. JRI was founded by the original Penske engineers.

Wow, thanks, man. I went looking last night on some of those. The 7500DA sounds like the best for the money. JRI is boss, but a hair outta my range. Granted, I probably won't be purchasing a coil over kit for some months, but I'm not talking a year either. Where can you purchase the Penske kit? I'm doing every suspension mod 1st before I get into any kind of supercharger. I want the suspension to be the best I can get it for what I can afford. I'm NOT a 1/4 mile cat, I LOVE the twisties and live here in Eastern Kentucky in the mountains and commute to Charlotte and Raleigh NC every week or so, too. Thanks lifespeed, I've heard I need to check out your car and talk to you as they say you're "the suspension guy". Thanks for info again.

Anze Suspension (http://www.anzeengineering.com/) did mine. Feel free to PM me for shock dyno plots before you pull the trigger, there are some tuning and configuration details to be aware of. Also JRI is good. The high prices quoted are for their top-of-the-line 4 way adjustable units. The Penske 7500DA is double adjustable, 3 and 4 way adjustable are available both from Penske and JRI at a higher price. Just make sure your comparing apples to apples.

JRI has a more-advanced adjustment mechanism, they arguably have evolved the technology some more. Correctly built and adjusted, either will work.

Again, many thanks! I'll do that. I'm interested in seeing that data. I'm just now getting into suspensions pretty heavy. Learning what I can and utilizing it to mine and it's full potential. Thanks, again!
