Someone did this on a DTR, posted on this site and while the comments went both ways, it did look cool and modernized the look.

Tire lettering on some vehicles would be pretty cool. IMHO would not be cool on my Marauder. It would cheeeezy.

I think that's due to the Marauder not having an overall "race" or "sports" car look.

I remember that. I think the biggest issue with that one was that the front letters were too big for the tire. I'm with you though, I like it but not enough for my car.

This weekend I ran across a Orange Challenger with Orange lettering on the tires. I was pretty impressed on how well it looked on it, I don't think it would look as good on a Marauder. I should have taken a pic, it was a good looking Mopar

Mopars can get away with just about anything. Marauders would never get away with even 2% of what they do.

Here's a picture of my marauder with the lettering kit. It only lasted 2 days and I had the tires flipped inside out. Didn't quite dig it once I saw them on the marauder.

I see what you mean. I've always like white letter tires, but those letters in your photo seem a bit too big for such a low sidewall. I like the red like look better. Even though this is a "performance" car, it still has that rather understated look that the white letters (at least the big ones) kind of overpower.





Maybe if it had swoopier lines or a big ricer wing.

I don't recall exactly, but I think I asked in the original DTR w white letter thread, if they has a shiney black tire letter paint, as I thought the shiney black letters might look really cool on a SB and a Black.

Great minds...
