I pulled my '03 Marauder out of the garage the other day to get my lawn mower out. When I went to put it back in and it wouldn't start. When i turn the key nothing happens.
I've tried both keys.
The PATS system seems to be normal, flashes every 2-3 seconds. Light turns on for 3 seconds when I put the key to start position.
Any thoughts?

Shift it to neutral and try it again.

Still nothing.
Check battery terminals and/or jump it?

Terminals are clean, battery should be good. But I'll try a jump.
Anything else to check?

Battery may be finished or maybe alternator

I had a similar issue. Turned out to be the alternator.
Did you notice the battery light on the dashboard at any time in the last couple of days? Did you notice the car taking more time to start than usual in the last couple of days? Did you have the car running with the a/c, lights and radio or other electronics for a prolonged period of time while the car was idling?

Thanks for the assistance guys. It ended up being the relay.

I ended up bringing it to a mechanic, so I don't know for sure but I'd assume it's the 302 relay in the main electrical panel under the hood.

That little turd of a relay had me flummoxed for a week plus, and if not for FBMerc, might still be! Glad it got sorted out. I bought 2 more relays and they're in my tool box!
