Hey guys -

I'm not 100% sure that I'm even going to give her up yet, but I've gotten the itch to row my own gears again and I'm thinking there might be someone out there willing to give my car the cosmetic love that it needs. I'm specifically looking for a car with a manual transmission. I don't mind mechanical work, I'm just not a body guy at ALL, and that's what my car needs. Currently sitting at 194k.

Needs:

Front bumper and fogs
RF fender dented, LF has a rust spot
RR door slightly crinkled
RR 1/4 near tail light, crinkled
Rear bumper, may be able to be repaired
LF rim straightened, light tweak
1 rim to replace broken one from accident, has the original full-size spare
LF cornering light

The underside is clean but the rockers are a bit rusty. All the damage is from the spin-out that I posted about here previously.

New things:

Motorcraft O2 sensor, drivers upstream
Motorcraft fuel filter
Oil filter adapter gasket and OPS
Coolant crossover o-rings with coolant flush
Rear shocks, pads/rotors, RR caliper, rear axle seals with Amsoil 75w90 lube
A/C accumulator, blows 43 degrees and does NOT leak
Front seats repaired and dyed, they look brand new
Used transmission from another MM installed, was told unit had 43k miles on it, and I found no reason to dispute that. Trans has ~55k on it now

I did replace the entire rear end due to the accident, so it's currently got a 3.27 posi out of a police interceptor. The posi is still good, I just laid 2 nice fat stripes a couple days ago.

It's got an Alpine CDA-9887 head unit, one of the highest rated at the time of it's release. It's wired with 4ga power and ground for a subwoofer amp. I have the original sub and amp as well. Speakers are stock.

The only mods it's got are a K&N intake kit that I recharged about 10k miles ago and I removed the rear cats. It sounds amazing under load. I've been using Amsoil 5w-40 Euro oil in it the past 15k miles, 5k intervals, and it uses less than a quart in between.

I replaced the interior lights with all LED's, including the cluster, gauges, dome lights, LP light, footwell lights, and I believe the glove box as well.

I know I'm supposed to post a price, but I'm not sure what she's worth. You guys know how to price these baby's, so let's hear it.

Buy mine, keep/sell yours. $26,000, needs nothing and you'll be rowing gears and staying in a Marauder!

Win win.

Yea. Except the part about me not having $26k. Haha

And no offense, if I had $26k to blow on vehicle I certainly would NOT be using it to buy a 13 year old car based on a 40 year old platform. $26k buys a lot of car now a days!

It may buy a "lot" of car, but just like Bob, I have built my 12 tear old, 40 year old platform to embarrass 95% of everything that's on the road. The last 5% that's left have to work at keeping up or doing better, life's good being the under dog.

Additionally, I can go to a car show and be the only Marauder there, not like owning a Camaro, Mustang, Vette, Charger/Challenger, you get what I'm getting at?

Oh I do! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my MM. I am in no rush to get rid of it. Yes, she's banged up. But I've always done everything mechanical related that she needed and in return I've got an insanely reliable daily driver that still gets compliments. Granted, the fuel mileage isn't great, but I didn't buy her for that.

Didn't mean to imply any disrespect.
