Most articles talk about production ending "at the end of 2004", however one article discusses that Mercury may have stopped production in June 2004:
"DETROIT - Mercury will drop the Marauder performance sedan after the 2004 model year. Production of the Marauder at the St. Thomas, Ontario, assembly plant will end in June, a Mercury spokesman said last week."

Another article also discusses June 2004:

On http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=95797
Bluerauder talks about how "...until December 2004 nearly 6 months after MM production had formally ended. At that point, members started to back-trace some history with regard to production numbers. The FPG certificates didn't start appearing until about November 2009 ... some 5 years after the quest started."

But I actually prefer this article. It is a much more upbeat happy article; for when the first 2003 Mercury Marauder was produced in the week of May 2002. :)

That is a good article
I feel like crying when I drive by there now ( STAP ) being torn down .
It hit the area hard with job loss from the plant and all the suppliers .

The last Marauder was built June 25, 2004. It was a Silver Birch and it presently lives in NH.

The build em as fast as we can seems to start at the end of May.

He posted up the following thread after midnight when he got home from work. It was a Silver Birch with Light Flint interior. >>>>>> http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=10953

The car is silver with grey interior destined for "Jack Demmer Lincoln Mercury" in Dearborn MI.
Way to go with your cars at the plant today to guys. It's nice to see people enjoying cars as a hobbie, especially the panther platform.
