I put the Sony MEX-XB100BT (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_158XB100BT/Sony-MEX-XB100BT.html) in our 09 MGM with Polk speakers this week for my daughter's birthday present. The 40watt, nominal output, 100W max output Class D inboard amp works very well to power the Polk speakers. Night and day difference from the factory units.

I like this so much I am thinking of replacing my broken OEM head unit with this model SONY. I changed the speakers years ago to Infinity's. With adapters the only thing I lose is the 6 disc trunk changer and I'm not 100% sure on that. The sound shaping this unit is capable of should make a vast improvement in the sound of the factory sub. The added power to the Infinity speakers will bring them to life.

Curious if anyone else is using this combination?

I was just on crutchfield's website looking at this same hu. Then I saw a question from someone with an 04 Marauder. Was that you?

I can't answer your question based on experience but I would think this unit should provide a night and day difference for your aftermarket speakers. What does the oem hu put out? I would guess 10 watts or lower. This song will be 40.

I will probably order before the end of the month ($30 off). Let us know if you order it.
