First option is lot of diverse places we can meet up and eat being in California (Chinese dim sum, Indian, Philipino, etc.). Or I'm down with a good old fashioned burger.

Or we can meet up for a tour of the USS Hornet type event. (I've already been but open to other ideas).

Or a group cruise somewhere like Bodie for photo ops (ghost towns are too far unfortunately for this group). And the Portola Valley tank museum closed a few years back and they sold their tanks to the Collings Foundation.

Other ideas?

Transmission is at Silver Fox, Chris at ADTR is working on a revised supercharger kit with external oiling and '99 Cobra front cover bracketry to support a beefier 8-rib accessory setup to drive high boost, the Thump Racing Vortech tensioner has arrived, Innovator's West 8-rib damper with 10% overdrive and other 8-rib pulleys are here. Engine block/heads will ship to Williams Performance next week for fitment of a custom, real road-race trapdoor oil pan before being sent on to Livernois for the rebuild to 5.0L with forged stroker crank.

Edit: just got the '99 front cover from Palmdale, CA needed for the beefier drive setup. Has to go with the engine to builder.

Mine is doing great! About 53K original miles. Did have to replace some coils last year. The amazing thing is that it has the original battery from 2004. A 12 year old battery that belongs in the battery Hall of Fame. Choke on that Prius drivers. Hope I didn't just jinx myself.
However, it does have a problem with water spots.

I take my Crown Vic each year but still having carb problems and not sure I'll have the carburetor working well by then. And the shifting is still off for the TV rod.

Rod, you would have to talk to Darryl. I'd think he would have some interest in letting a Marauder in the show. Not sure what class a Marauder would be in (maybe special interest) but they have had a Mad Max car, a Starsky and Hutch car, etc. in the past. But I think to really sell it and its relation to law enforcement, someone should get a few FHP posters and make a show board about how the FHP used Marauders for a few years. I think that would blow them away.

When we keep it simple, that seems to work best for this group. Lots of places to meetup for food and then chat about cars. The bay area is a very diverse place for food but my bet is this group is probably an American food kind of group.

So my ideas are the new Steak n Shake for steakburgers and shakes (Daly City), Fudruckers (Fremont), or Cattleman's (Livermore).

Any other ideas?

You should just throw a date out there and see what sticks. Livermore or Tracy sounds good. They are both accessible for people in Sacramento via 680 or I-5. Saturday has worked the best in the past.
