Does anyone have some cool license plates laying around that they don't need anymore. I'm looking for some to decorate my garage aka the Ma(n)rauder cave with.
I wouldn't offer cash in return but a swap for license plates from my country for your own garages or man caves if you are interested.

I'll look through the garage. I may have some old New Hampshire plates with the large print "Live Free or Die" on them and I still have the last vanity plates of my MM that had "MRAUDR". Let me see what I turn up - swap sounds fair to me!

Sounds cool, that would be great! I was hoping someone would have some Marauder related vanity plates they would look fantastic on my car for shows. Send me a message when you find anything.
I have added a sample picture of how German license plates look like, I have these 4 types although there are lots more.
M-AH 9659 is the previous DIN style plate that were mandatory until 1994, optional until 2000 and then phased out. Existing registrations are still on the road today but they slowly disappear it already became rare to see one.
M-ZZ 3108 is the current Euro style plate that were introduced in 1994 they were optional to new registrants until 2000, then became the new mandatory general issue and are used ever since.
M-5758 S is an export plate if you buy a car from Germany and export it abroad you will receive these plates to drive it home they are valid for up to 1 year until you have to register the car in your home country. The date in the red field does not show the expiry date but the date by which the vehicle must have left the country.
M-044715 is a temporary plate much like the paper tags you use in the States, expiry date is shown in the yellow field.
