What a waste!

I know most of you will have leaky dipsticks over this...

Must have hot lapped it around the lot, they don't come off the truck with 59 miles.......lol.

Sent from my iPhone while doing a big ole' smokey burnout in my wife's Prius.

I couldn't own something and not use it now and then. Doesn't make sense to me, I take care of my stuff and even used it still looks amazing. A buddy of mine has a 2005 gt-40 drives it all the time, people say he's nuts putting miles on it. It's got over 55,000 and shows like a new car. He bought it for under 180 and can likely make 75k if he were to sell it and he drives and enjoys it.

He's going to have it a while at that price. No 427 under the hood of that one.

$60k seems a bit ambitious IMO. Even with 59 miles and in "Showroom" condition as the add claims. Mecum or Barrett Jackson might be a better place to sell the car.

If I remember correctly, the seller was asking $30K before, it didn't sell then... now he's asking $60K...?

In what condition are the rubber seals throughout the various systems and subsystems of the car? This car could be a maintenance nightmare. OK, I bid $8.00 and it has to run.

Has the oil been changed? Five thousand miles or six months, not 14 years. Tranny fluid changed? Fuel filter been changed (might be hard from gas residue)?

What sort of idiot would spend $60K on a Marauder?

:)

$8.00? I bid $9.50! :D

I've seen $113,000 spent on a Marauder. It even had a few issues with it. The guy might have been an idiot.

I know someone who's put more than that into a Marauder. It IS the World's fastest though. :P

I wonder if the price includes the crappy OEM paint job and infamous valve tick...?

Poor car, never been enjoyed I feel sorry for it. Yeah, there is something cool about it but what are you going to do with it? Seems a shame to start driving it now after all those years and it'll need a crap ton of maintenance to get it going in the first place so really you can only put it into a museum of some sort.

Yep....pretty much useless.
It's like that never titled Buick GNX.
You are paying all that money because it is a never driven, never used car.
To start driving it now would cost you a $h*t-ton of value.
Cars like this are for the museums.....nothing wrong with that if you like looking at your cars in a museum.

I admit it's something you don't see everyday. I admire his restraint on leaving the miles off it. I see maybe a $30K sale. On a good day.
