My starter went bad and im looking to buy 1 new. Is it worth the extra $$$ for a starter upgrade. Pros and Cons? Looking at a PowerMaster MasterTorque. Car is pretty much stock for now. Would it be of benefit when I start modding?

I only bought it because it was pretty LOL

Mine is the same you mentioned but with Jegs name on it.

I will say she starts quite effortlessly and quick now though!

But yeah, not needed.

I put this AC Delco in my car and I love it. It sounds exactly like a starter should and is very strong. I installed a Bosch and it sounded horrible. Pulled immediately. I also did a super cheapo a long time ago and got what I paid for. Lasted 2 years.

I forgot to mention that the DB electrical one I had for about thirteen months caught fire when the cheap plastic front on the solenoid gave way and grounded out at a traffic light.. Scary!

That was another reason behind "money doesn't matter" spending on the Jegs one! Plus it sounds pretty cool when turning over. [emoji1303]

I love my Power master starter , it turns the engine over instantly.
