What's up guys. My name is Tony. I am currently serving in Germany. I currently own a 1977 ford pickup, a 1996 Impala SS, my wife has a 2012 Mini Cooper countryman, and I am buying a 2003 Mercury Marauder on Tuesday. Happy to be in the forum and look forward to learning a lot about marauders.

Thanks. I am hoping so. I am picking up a silver one on Tuesday. It's an 03 with only 67,216 miles. It's in excellent shape, well except for the fact t needs a motor. No rust or anything. Still looks brand new. Only payin $800 for it so I think that's a good deal haha

Thanks. Yea cant wait to pick her up. I have 2 of the biggest cars in Germany, the roads are tiny. I cant wait to get her up and running. She is Silver, not sure if that is a rare color, I heard it is but not sure, and a burgundy Impala. I have learned a lot about the impala from forums and have met some really cool people. I hope this forum will be the same. It seems like it will. just reading some of the threads I have already learned a lot.

Welcome and congrats on purchase, You have a motor or shop to rebuild it?
Silver is Silver Birch
There are few in Germany or area. Maybe read this thread or look under the European region threads which is way down the bottom of the forum list.

Hi and welcome aboard Tony!
Glad to hear Stevens car found a new caring home in the end, I was worried it would end up getting parted out.
If you've got nothing going on the weekend of September 9-11 you are welcome to join us at Euro-Marauderville (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=101082) in Cologne and meet a few other Marauderers on this side of the pond.
All the best, Marvin

You don't need to come in an MM to attend, just come in any other car we would love to have you there still.
We've guesstimated there are roughly 20 in Europe and we'll have 7 of them at our meeting.

You can find the itinerary in the first post of the Marauderville thread in the European subforum. Booking a hotel is everybodies own responsibility and it's up to you whether you want to join us for 1 or 2 days (hotel nights). You can still get a relatively cheap room in the Cologne (Frechen) area for under €100 per night but you need to be quick.
