Really need some help/advice!! So, I found another motor that was in a Mach 1. The guy bent a rid and then took the motor apart. if he only bent a rod, what do I need to replace to get the motor going again? or what should I replace? I know all the seal but what other parts should I do, ie pistons, camshaft, etc. and what brands should I do? any suggestions and advice is greatly appreciated. going to try and use some of the parts from this motor and the one in my car now and some new parts to bring this machine back to life. Thanks again!!!!

Keep stock cams, most do. Cams are pricey for a 4v and take skill and time to degree them. Manley pistons/rods or Eagle rods and Diamond pistons. Sorry I do not have part numbers.
was the mach 1 a manual or automatic? as I know there are differences and what year?

90,000 miles and yea all that happened was a bent rod. I have not bought all the pieces to fix it. But all the pieces we took off are there. Manual transmission. It came out of a 2003 Mach 1. That's what the guy with the motor told me.

It takes a lot to bend a rod. Even a hypereutectic rod. There may be a lot of other things wrong in there. You may need a new crank, you will need main bearings, rod bearings, block and head decking, rings, gaskets, bolts, bore honing at minimum... I'm sure there's other things I'm not even thinking of right now. Valve job? Valve seals?

Manual transmission. One way to be sure is that manuals had an 8-bolt crank while automatics had a 6.
IIRC. YMMV. I read it here, so it's not my fault if it's wrong... ;)

did he actually BEND the rod or just spin a rod bearing, causing rod KNOCK? verify this.

if the marauder block doesn't have a hole in it, due to your location, it would be best to tear yours down and see what is broke rather than throw money and parts at unknown. i dont believe a manual mach 1 block will work with marauder auto trans.
