my usual response after a major mod.... WOW!

just like when I got the chip and gears.. that was [WOW!] major difference.
Just like when I got the Headers and pullies.. that was [WOW!] major difference.

now when I hit the red button... [major WOW!] it's amazing. I almost know what the SC'd guys are talking about.. I just had to do a burn out, and there's no stopping a big burnout without letting off the gas, and no brakes are needed to get it lite up from a stop. wheels just spin and spin and spin.

Besides doing a fine tune on a dyno hopefully soon, I'm done. doubt it.

Couple of tips for others:
-the throttle position sensor voltage output wire is the middle one on the sensor (it took me three tries and as always it's the last on I tried-as there are three wires..and they all gave me wierd voltage readouts so i was not sure which one would work until I tried them all in an actual live hookup to the Zex control unit.

- the weak point in the system is the NOS guage as it has a regular fitting, not compression fit, so it took awhile to get enough teflon sealer on the threads.. my bottle was pretty hot, so pressure was up to 1100 pounds, and it kept blowing the teflon out of the threads until I tried to let it dry first then pressure check the lines.

- the fuel rail schrader valve is a great and neat tie in point for the fuel line-but you need an adapter.

- since NOS is pretty cheap, more of you will start to get on the juice, feel free to PM me.. or my NOS mentor JSpradli.

How did you adjust the timing?

for now i took my chip out. and will try not to use the juice too often although with a 75hp wet shot and the stock timing Zex says it's no problemo... but to be sure, I'm going to have my chip reprogrammed with another program to give the firm shifts, but with 2 or 4 degrees less timing for the NOS.

Just a clarification. Up to about a 125 hp shot, the EEC will compensate adequately for the timing. Beyond that, you need to get your SCT(or other program) programmed for higher levels. I recommend the SCT 9100, since you can tune for any contingency in about 5 minutes. Right now, I can tune in N/A for street driving, 100NOS and 300NOS. Can't use the 300NOS until I get the fuel system for the NOS installed, maybe a couple more weeks.
For those of you considering drag radials, I can't recommend the BFG T/A's enough. I operated them this weekend at 30lbs press and I think that is optimal for this tire. NO spin. NO wheel hop, and NO fishtail. Straight and out!!
