Last night my trans took its last healthy breathe. As I was driving I felt a clank and next thing you know I don't have 3rd or 4th gear.

Now it's a 04 SB so it has the 4r75w so I guess my question is what should I get performance wise while its out of the car done to it? Jmod, 3000 stall, trans cooler are somethings I had in mind but anything else? Thought I'd get feed back now so I can grab parts.

The cost of a rebuild with good parts, vs stock is not much difference, if any at all.

Do your research and find a local guy/shop thats known for doing them

If you plan on staying NA, a J-Mod will be good to 550rwhp

What happens after 550 HP?
Not suggested?

Historically speaking, the trans will need internal upgrades after that.
Mainly, a spiralock snap ring

So do the jmod for sure then! What about a higher stall? I heard 3000 stall is a good place to start.
