An unbelievable shout out to Lowndex, who donated his tires and wheels to my sons 16 birthday present. Honestly, I don't think I would have bought this car, if I didn't already have these killer, badass, meaty, manly wheels.

Thank you Lowndex! He loves it!

Will post up more pictures of fat back wheels. These things are beastly!

Thank you Lowndex

You made it happen brother... You made it happen. I am forever indebted.

Just gotta add, what a magnificent freeway car this HPP is. Have to pull one or both of the Marauders out as... They are jealous, AND, I've gotta say this new car is a contender!

I drive a new limited (every option) Toyota Highlander for work, and this HPP drives better, quieter (it has laminated glass!), and smoother... And is 11 years older. Wow.

If my works car plan changes (right now our cars age out at 3 years from new) I am going to buy a Sport or HPP for work.

Simply awesome!

Lowndex is good peeps.

A lot of people gave him a rash of crap when he first came on scene. I've always enjoyed his posts and never took part in the banter.

Kudo's to him for being a stand up guy. Not many around like him these days.

Did you clay and wax that ride already? That CV looks like it came off the show room floor yesterday!

YES_ thank you for your offer to also help clay bar the car. It was in rough shape--and you know how kids are - only some are able to see "beneath the dirt," so I did have it clay bared at a great car body repair facility that my grandmother visited 4 times a year till I took her keys away. They did an amazing job and installed the front chin spoiler - while they were at it.

DUDE< ARE YOU SERIOUS? REALLY?
I was just lamenting that I had sold my stock marauder shocks and roll bars, and WAS JUST ON THE KYB site a few days ago. Will gladly use these, as at 85,000 miles one shock in front is softer than the other. Can't pass up suspension parts on a car near 90M miles. THANK YOU!

DOES ANYONE know where I can find a paintable front grill... OR how I can prep a front grill to get it painted? I really dislike the chrome in front--it makes the front so look much bigger than it is.

PS Forgot to say--car has been "keyed" and has its 90,000 miles of nicks and scratches of a daily driver for a grandmother. Which I am really ok with (for the first time) as he will drive it to highschooler etc... I really just wanted it to shine when he first saw it--so he could fall in love with big platform, rear wheel drive V8's LIKE WE ALL DID!

That's a heck of a first car, I wish my first car was as nice as that Vic. Good choice for a first time driver, lots of space between him and other drivers.

Yes the ad says paintable. I would do as you suggested, paint the outer rim silver base clear It'll look factory
