I think it would be a great idea to post it again, it's for a friend.

Thank you

Just the new spoiler if all goes as planned with the Tuesday install.

Weird how things always come down to the last minute.

Can't wait to meet all the new people!!

Here's a recommended travel packing list for Carlisle. Many of the items pertain to a Marauderville trip too !!

Only 5 more days until the Big MV14 Show in Cleveland, OH. Its time to start putting together your packing list of items "Not to Forget" .....

Here are some suggestions ....

1. CARLISLE ONLY .... Showfield Sticker (upper driver's side windshield --- put it on before you roll)

2. CARLISLE ONLY .... Carlisle Letter (you will need this to pick up your Goody Bag -- put it over the visor today is a good idea)

3. EZ Up Tents or other Canopy type tents if you have one (shade is a good thing)

4. Folding Chairs (2 if you have 'em)

5. Camera (with charger or extra batteries)

6. Large or Small coolers (with ice and soft drink, water, or other beverages)

7. Bags of ice (available at most gas stations or convenience stores)

8. Snack Items to share (i.e. chips, pretzels, snacks, cookies, etc.)

9. Cleaning supplies (i.e. absorber or chamois, detailer spray, tire shine, windex, paper towels, etc.)

10. Micro fiber towels

11. California duster or similar

12. Hats or Visors

13. Sunscreen (you won't regret this at all)

14. Rain Gear (umbrella, windbreaker) -- "A Carlisle Tradition" -- it might happen in Cleveland too and has before :(

15. FRS/GMRS radio tuned to Channel 5

16. GPS if you have one (otherwise just follow the Marauder in front of you or have the maps from the MV Team handy)

17. Sunglasses

18. Hand sanitizer or Handy wipes

19. Flashlight

20. Blanket to wrap up any car-part purchases

21. Comfortable Walking shoes

My Pioneer radio has a built in GPS system.

I am taking my Garmin system as a spare for anyone who needs to borrow it for the events planned in Cleveland. It has a 7 inch screen, so vision is not an issue.

Walkie Talkies?

Cop cars.
Walkie talkies.

What's not to get?

Haha

When driving to a location in a group it's a way for the people who know where we are going to keep in touch with the group.
Also a good way to make inappropriate jokes and remain anonymous. :D

I have several "Walkie-Talkies"

I'll bring them and batteries.

There is a Quaker Steak and Lube near our hotel. Perhaps after the Brewery show for dinner????
It has ample parking and is less than a mile away.

Bring an E-Z Pass/I-Pass if you have one.

We will be traveling on the PA and OH turnpikes to get to the hotel, so it makes it quick and easy through the tolls.

By using EZ pass I will save $11.64 on my trip:):):)

Plus the time, zoom, zoom:banana2::beer:

By using EZ pass I will save $11.64 on my trip:):):) Yeah, but if you take I-476 north through Allentown and run I-80 west, you'll save a hell of a lot more. It's 12 extra miles from LTNJ to the hotel.

Full disclosure: I always avoid the PA turnpike when possible. Learned a lot about the alternate routes after discovering that cash tolls exceed $20 one-way from Cleveland to Baltimore, MD. On a round trip, that's a tank of gas.

If you're referring to the blanket in the what to bring list, that item mostly pertains to Carlisle All Ford Nationals where there are always parts you want to bring home.
