I totaled my 2003 MM on Sunday down in ATLANTA. I will have the car back in my possession by the end of next week.
The car was mechanically sound, had no CELS, and was my DD up until the accident. It had about 115k on it with about 40k of those being boosted miles. Stock options were heated seats, Traction control, manual fuel door, 6CD changer and factory sub, and a mini spare.
The car was Eaton swapped, had 4.10 gears, 4" megs tips, and rear cat delete all done by Jeff at Mos Speed Shop. Car also had aero turbine mufflers, Metro rear control arms, built trans by Eric (88grandmarq), TCE brake lines, R1 Concepts D/S rotors, 8K HIDs in the fogs and headlights, Curless brass pedal gear, BC4E dead pedal, SRP pedal covers, and a 8/10 interior.
I still have not decided on parting the car out completely and getting something else or swapping the drivetrain into another MM.
I am currently interested in blown engine MMs or possibly a roller. Would prefer it to be silver in color but am open to DTR or DPB. Must have dark charcoal interior and be somewhat close in mileage and options. Please PM me with any details or leads. Thank you ladies and gentlemen and please drive safe out here.

Making a left turn way too fast, lost the ass end, over corrected and spun around, whacked the curb and flew into a nice thick tree.
Fully insured with USAA

A long time ago someone borrowed and wrapped my sports car around a light post. I bought a better car with a marginal engine and swapped out the parts.
In my case I ended up with a much better car that I kept for another 6 years.

Man sorry to hear about this , at least you walked away vertical.
I think that should be repaired.. ..not even kidding.
Drop it off, pay the bill.
Less work and money than buying another, then swapping everything

It will fix, buy a old cv, and clip the car, split it at the "a" pillars and rockers, there's a couple seams in the floor that is could be split at, depending on the damage. Fixed a fleet cv just that way, good luck

It may have frame damage, hood and trunk won't open under their own power, would have to get it looked at professionally.

A good shop should be able to swap the cabin from a crown vic donor shell. All other good parts direct bolt on. Doesn't seem to have frame damage.

This is the image Jerry has in his head of what's going to happen to me. He's convinced I'll end up wrapped around a tree.
At least you're safe man. A car can be rebuilt/replaced, you can't.

So sad to see a wrecked silver BUT so happy you lived to tell the story!!! If you decide to part it, I'd like to call dibs on the metallic silver piece of the dash that goes from column to passenger door. Since I bought mine it has a flaw that has always annoyed me.

I got 8200 bucks before my deductible and buy back cost. They gave me all excellent ratings on the whole car also.

What hurt more, pride, pain from the wreck, or pain from the wife for wrecking her car?

Sorry to see another one bite the dust. Glad you weren't hurt.
Please don't sell any Marauder-specific parts to a Crown Vic. :D

It is body on frame so it could be fixed, body shops like smaller jobs for a quick buck.
I am glad your OK and I like Zack's comment.

It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to attempt repair on that car at this point, you can buy another one with no accident damage for less than what it will cost in repairs.

Around here, I could get that fixed for 5k or less, depends on if it's worth it to the owner.

Yeah but for 5K he could replace it , and have cash left over , if it has centimental value then that's understandable.

Take a step back and think about what works best for your situation. Mannnnn that is hard to look at but it is what it is. We are here to help.

I appreciate the kind words guys.
As far as fixing the original goes I don't think it would be worth it to be honest. Like Turbov6Bryan said above, almost every panel on the outside of the car will need to be either fixed, replaced, and/or painted.
I'm currently on the hunt for another marauder after test driving new cars this weekend. I honestly can't see myself driving anything else.

Try a Chrysler 300S with the 5.7. You can supercharge them and actually make great dailys if you can live with the minivan-ish interior.
