If my AC is blowing hot and I added two cans of freon and it's still blowing hot, what's my problem?

Well, is the compressor cycling normally? If it's cycling rapidly or not at all, it means there's insufficient/no refrigerant in the system. If you had a leak and it all evacuated, it could take more than two cans to sufficiently recharge the system.

But in any case, definitely check to make sure that the compressor is cycling normally first. And you'll also want to check the pressure in the system while it's running. A lot of refrigerant filler hoses have pressure gauges on them.

Most likely blend door actuator

Turn key on, push buttons to go from cold to hot or hot to cold

Stick your ear down by the pass side airbag. Do you hear a click click click click click noise?

That means a tiny gear broke in the actuator

Do you get that noise?

I just had to replace my Accumulator/Drier. Was all crusty and rotted out. You have lost refrigerant from somewhere. It does take more than two retail cans to fill. In my opinion, if it was that low, it is best to get it figured out, and properly evacuated and charged with new oil and refrigerant. After replacing the failed part.....

Call a friend that has a gauge set and find out if your system is pressurized. As said above, is the compressor cycling? The system needs pressure and electric to run. Rule out whatever you can.

Have you found any oil leaks anywhere. If it was ever dyed, it is alien green. If not, its pretty thin and clear.

If it leaked, I highly recommend applying vacuum to the system to ensure there is no moisture in there. I just had mine done, it is the worth the $$ to do it properly. I picked up a NAPA aluminum Drier and a pal at Ford cleared and recharged the system the right way.

May also want to check vacuum manifold on the fire wall. I had leak on mine that affected my A/C.

It's a pain to swap out the actuator, your supposed to pull the dash away to get to the actuator

I've done it by leaving the dash alone, pulled the glovebox and air bag, ground down a socket and use a lot of cuss words

Guys charge 400-800 to do the job
