I'm technically in the Phily burbs, but much closer to Wilmington DE.

Want to upgrade from 3:55 to 4:10.

Honestly, I'd go with whatever kit recommended by the shop.

Anybody local to this area have a good name?

Thanks.

I have the Ford Racing 4.10 and LOVE it!! For added feel replace the flimsy control arms with billet ones. So far the best money spent when combined with a nice tune. The car "loses 800lbs" with those mods.

Any shop that works on Mustangs should be able to do it. Check with local Mustang groups.

Talked to these guys based on a recommendation that got IM to me here. http://www.performance-evolution.com/

The guy asked me if I want to sell him my Marauder. :)

I think he was only half joking.

dont forget you will need a tune at time of change to correct speedo and shifting

I'd be interested in the rough overall cost, and your thoughts on "the change/difference"

Parts were ~$1300

Parts Install $475

Dyno/tune $350

Also got a SCT x4 power Flash Programmer $399

Huge difference. As a noted above. Very pleased. I drove it back from Smyrna DE, which is about 50 miles. It's a DD, which my wife occasionally drives, so I didn't want it too aggressively tuned. Shift pressure is noticeable, but not abrupt.

Anyway, it is a significant improvement.

Fun meter was pegged on the ride back.

I had to suppress a giggle or two.

Congrats. 4.10s add some umph to the car.

What was included in parts price for $1300? Did you have the entire rear end rebuilt and/or go with 31 spline axles? If not, seems pretty high for 4.10s and install kit.

Gears are only about $200 plus clutches and lube are about $150. What other parts did you have installed?

Nice setup.

Thanks. I figured if I was going to have it done, was gonna get it done soup to nuts.

I'll eventually go for the billet control arms as suggested above as well, I think.
