Eric and I feel the same. Glad you are able to attend, Ken. Please pass along our deepest condolences.

Sorry we cannot make it also since we are so far away and probably would not let Joann off work again so soon. Would you also send our deepest sympathy and regrets for not being there? This really is depressing.

Ken, please pass on our sincerest condolences to Paris' wife and family. We too are a little out of sector and won't be able to attend. He was such a nice guy and although we met only briefly last Thursday, he will be remembered for his Marauder enthusiasm, friendliness, and out-going nature. His comments at the end of the MV14 meeting are a testament to the comaraderie and welcoming nature of the MM.Net gang. He will be remembered by all who met him. R.I.P. Paris ... You were with us all too briefly.

I have a class with Post-Docs on Saturday mornings, so making the trip is out for me.

Please offer the family our condolences. Joanne and I are still trying to handle the shock.

Planning on going. Is this for calling hours, or a more traditional service? I haven't found any information on the Gaines website.

Meet at QS&L in Valley View around 9 and convoy down Granger (https://goo.gl/maps/7uqU8VwinYS2)?

Adam, sounds good. Likewise, I couldn't find info either. I was surprised that they don't list any info on any funeral services on the funeral home website. Most usually do.

Thanks again to those who can go and represent the rest of us who cannot be there. We will be with you all in spirit.

I just saw a Facebook posts that indicates the following:
Wake - 9:30-10am
Funeral service - 10am-?

I told a few of Paris's Crown Vic friends about this as well, so we may have some 2Vs joining us. They would have been at the funeral anyway.

I just got word from one of the CVB guys who was close friends with Paris. Apparently they have already organized a roll-in to the funeral home at a nearby park. Do we want to join with them or stick with meeting at QSL?

Unfortunately we didn't have the privilege of meeting Paris, I think it's awesome to have a showing of support for his family from ours. Even though we only knew him for a moment, it shows that a family is a family whether it be for years or for minutes. Please convey our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Bill & TJ

Do we want to join with them or stick with meeting at QSL?Find out where the park is, QSL is quite a way from the funeral home, and out of the way for all of us. Maple Heights is nearer to
480 & 271. Coming from your direction, there is a Lee Rd exit off 480.

I mapped out the QSL convoy and it was about 5 miles. I think the park is just up the road from the funeral home so it would definitely be more convenient. Waiting on a time and address.

I just washed the Marauder for tomorrow and now I see rain is being forecast. I may have to bring Stick Vic along (which Paris would have loved!)

UPDATE
I just got word from Jamar, one of Paris' close friends and one who is more closely connected to the family than any of us.

The funeral is being postponed.

Word is, something got messed up due to some interference from other family members....Should be having a service sometime next week for him.

I was told by Jamar the GoFundMe money is legit. That money will be going where it's supposed to go. Additionally, to help with the new bill from the funeral home, $1100 was raised on the fly today at a memorial picnic.

I'm sorry that I don't have all of the details, I pretty much got what I could during a 3-minute break at work.

Short story is: no funeral tomorrow
