Great way to start the day ...

So this morning on the way to work, I had the opportunity to sit in traffic with 1000's of my closest friends on the SF Bay Bridge. :mad2: So, I made the most of it. Had the windows down, listening to the Eagles, just enjoying the day. Next to me was a new, paper plate, black BMW 740i. Beautiful car.

I noticed the driver was looking my way, but whatever. Then he rolls down his windows and looks over some more. I turn down the music, did not want it to loud for him ... and I realize that he trying to talk to me.

His words, 'Now that is a nice car!'. I was stunned, here he is driving a new BMW easily worth north of 80K and he is complimenting my 13 year Marauder that is dirty. I thank him ... what more could I say?

I had a :D on my face for the rest of my drive in!

I, too, get those positive comments quite frequently, even when the Marauder is dirty (in my opinion).

I had 3 separate people in the last 4 days say very nice things about my Marauder!! One came out of his house after I parked to look at a house for sale. He said he saw my drive by and we chatted a bit.

Everybody loves it when their car gets noticed. Good feeling.
