Hi,
Wanted to reintroduce myself. Used to own a moderately modded 03 300a but effectively had to get rid of it because of a divorce. Had a bunch of plans for it that were well underway. Really enjoyed the car. Fun to drive. Either got a love it or hate it look, which I liked because it invoked opinion and feelings.
Thankfully, somewhat back in a position to get another "reasonable" toy/project to have some fun with and to put my personal stamp on again. Been looking at a lot of different vehicles. All over the board really. From 96 impala SS's, 69-72 chevy c10s, 03-04 terminators, 01-04 lightnings, 02-03 HD f150s, and 03-04 marauders. Came close to a 70 c10, 71 c10 and a 96 ss. However, when it came time to pull the trigger, I was somewhat hesitant; like there was something in the back of my mind nagging me. Kept going back to the MM and would jump online to see what's out there. Not sure if it was because of my familiarity with the marauder or something entirely subconscious. Basically, missed the marauder so much.
So on my last flirtation with a purchase (a built and beautifully customized 71 c10), I said I'd take the night to decide. Well, what did I do? Search MMs being offered while I laid in bed.
There it was. Another 03 300a just staring at me. 1 owner. 15.5K miles. And what I considered a very reasonable price. Dealership who was selling the car also sold the car new to the original owner back in 2002 (car is a 6/02 build).
Contacted the dealership the next day and struck a deal. Sight unseen, apart from pics and some specific videos I had the salesman take for me. Smartest thing I've ever done? Nope. Did this one feel right? YEP!
Anyways, if all goes well, I'll take delivery of another MM in a couple weeks.
Look at me just ramble lol! Like a kid excited for Christmas or his birthday lol!
