Just need some expert advice. I found a motor for my car. It is about 5 hours away from me. Just wondering if it is a good deal. it has 60,000 miles for only $3,000 and has a warranty. the guy also is selling a motor with 31,000 miles for $3,500, also has a warranty. Are those good deals? obviously still gonna try to talk him down but don't know what the current value is for these motors.

Being your in Germany, I'd say you're pretty lucky.

What were they out of? Hard to price Germany vs US on a motor for a limited production car built in ST.Thomas Ontario. As Jerry said, lucky to find 2 choices, especially if run and can go in relatively easily rather than shipping stuff from here and machine shop etc over there, assembly.
