I know someone has posted on here somewhere about changing wheel bearings and axles etc, but I can't seem to find it. It gave step by step instructions on how to do it. One step said to NOT rotate the axle with the differential pin shaft removed because by doing so, it can cause the pinion gears to fall out. Well I decided to move the axle anyway because I had a hard time getting the U washers out. The gears didn't fall out but they apparently moved and I cannot get them lined up in the assembly to get the differential pin shaft put back in.

Is there any way to do this without taking it all apart? Don't know if it makes a difference or not, but I have the 4.10s

They just rotate into position. It's easy to be one tooth off on one. No biggie, just back it off and reposition. Just turn one of the axles until they all line up. Pretty simple really.

Make sure both spiders still have their washer as well.
