Since this is my first car with and absolutely pristine interior I want to protect it.

I work as a machinist so the end of a work day often means I am a bit on the grimy side. My parking lot is also gravel. I was thinking that some seat covers and rubberized floor mats might serve to protect my car's interior rather well.

Does anyone have any experience with ones that are a good fit for these cars?

wear street shoes and not your work boots, leave them at the shop. No shop clothes at your shop? change clothes at end of day. there are no seat covers specific to marauders, buy a charcoal towel

I was a heavy equipment mechanic for 20 years before I retired.

Talk about getting dirty!

I would put clean clothes on in the morning and when the work day was over I would put clean street clothes on and leave my work boots in my locker

This was the ONLY way I kept from ruining a few Buick Grand Nationals when they served DD duty

Glad to hear your trying to keep it clean :)

I'd add in that you should get a steering wheel cover. I bought my first Marauder from someone that worked at a dirty plant. It took me a week to get all of the dirt and grease out of the steering wheel.

I recommend seatcovers unlimited.

Or swap out the entire wheel. FINALLY found a grey with wood grain YAY

I always cleaned up and changed into to a new uniform at the end of the day when I was a mechanic. Left the work shoes in my locker. Had to do it because my '73 Cougar XR7 had white buckets.
