So see all kinds of posts about brakes but nothing really too recent. Anyone know of a good brake system (lines, pads, rotors, etc,) but not gonna charge me an arm foot and a leg?

TCE here in the vendors section for stainless lines to replace the rubber lines from caliper to frame..Todd is his name.
I've had goodluck on other cars with R1 Concepts rotors, they are in California and also a lot on ebay thru them. If not doing big brake kit upfront thru Jerry or Todd..$700 to $1500 range for big brake kit up front.

Suggest you read Zack's post, "Big Brakes on a not-so-big Budget? YEP".

Your brackets and hardware worked great. I was able to adapt them to work with my KVR 2 piece rotors.
Thanks,
Russ

Here is a link to a site with quality parts. I bought Kevlar pads for the front. Supposed to be grippier. One day I may even install them....
