Thanks to the man with led in hand, fastblackmerc, I was able to directly compare green and white leds.
We have a sylvania zevo 6000k 194 led vs a Hot system green 194.

Also, they seem to have discontinued the zevo line (black and orange package) and replaced it with the brite line (blue and white package). The new brite line has slightly lower rating across the line. ( .7w 194 is now .5w, etc). I guess they were too bright? lol. Tons on ebay.

Pictures I missed like a fool and may add later if I want to risk my clips again:
both in the gauge pod full light and dimmed.

Your comparing apples & oranges.... No..?

White LEDs will always be brighter than colored LEDs.

Maybe "vs" wasn't the right word. I just wanted to show off the colors. Wasn't comparing the brightness since they are both blindingly bright compared to the stock incandescents.

Do LED's come in soft white? I like the idea of the LED's but the cool white is just to harsh.

White LEDs comes in cool white (5000k to 6500k) and warm white (3000k to 4500k). Warm LEDs are comparable to incandescent bulbs.

Colored LEDs are usually one "brightness" but do come in varying shaded.
