I have my chip off for a few days again, and this morning when i started the car to go to work, it idled fine, but when i put it in drive, it did not respond.. the engine was not responsive to pedal input, it just idled roughly and could not get any gas it felt like.. it lasted for a few minutes.. i could not get the car to move more than a snails pace...

Disconnect the battery. Wait five minutes. Hook it back up. Maybe it just needed to be 'burped"...

That's silly MIB! Tupperware needs to be burped, cars need to be kicked.

You say tomato, I say tomato.
You say potato, I say potato.
Tomato, tomato.
Potato, potato.
Let's call the whole thing off.

Hmmm, ya know- in print that song is pretty silly too.... :D

Did this problem correct itself? Did you notice any lights flashing on the dash?

I had something similar happen to me last summer- started up & idled ok, but when put into gear, the whole car started shaking & idled extremely poor and barely responded to gas pedal. The OD light was also flashing. It turned out to be an open connection in the wiring harness for the transmission control module, which locked up the torque converter. Mine did not correct itself- had to be towed to the dealer. And if I remember correctly this wiring harness rests on top of the transmission housing so they had to drop the tranny to inspect it.
