If you are shopping for a performance radiator and/or oil cooler, I have good news for you. I ordered a Mishimoto radiator and oil cooler. BRG Motorsports created custom mounting rails with vibration dampening strips. The mounting system results is great and easy to install.

In my humble opinion, this thread would be better serve the community if it had a better title. Something like "Custom radiator and mount option" or "Alternative replacement radiator".

Good info.
I have had my oil tested numerous times over the past 10 years and there has never been an indication of the oil getting too hot.
I have the stock oil system and drive in 95*+/95% humidity weather.

What am I missing? You have a Mustang and installed their radiator and oil cooler on it? Why post this on our Marauder Shop Talk page?

Yes, you are missing something: I own a 2004 Mercury Marauder.

OK - you own a Marauder, and put parts made for a Mustang on it!
I went to the links you posted, and it appears they made the parts for a Mustang, and they fit on your Marauder!
Is the radiator better than our Marauder radiator? If so, how is it better?
How does the cooler adapter work? Does it sandwich between the block and the filter? I don't see how there is room to fit it in there and still use the OEM FL-820-S oil filter? Does your system still use the OEM cooler, in series, or?

there is pretty much nothing made performance wise that are made for a marauder. so, yes, adapting mustang or other parts is what we get if you want something aftermarket. What are your feelings of using a GM 4L80E transmission in a Marauder? cause it has been done, adapters are available, or using corvette c5 calipers on front brakes.,cause that is what Zack and Jerry's big brake mod is using.
