looks like the compressor is out. been thinking about replacing compressor and air bags. but am wondering if maybe I should just convert it to springs.

so need advice, what compressor/bag kit do you recommend?
or
what spring & shock kit should I use?

with either one ai m also looking to replace the front suspension

2004, 158K no modes what so ever.

Why downgrade your car with springs? The bags have always been one of the best options for me. Being able to load five large adults, a trunk load of mulch, or just my lonesome and always riding like a pimp. Win.

Drill some larger holes in the pit under the compressor when you have it out to keep it from swamping.

Daily driver with no modifications to increase horsepower? Fix the OEM airbag/compressor rear suspension! It works well, does not need improvement for comfort (opinion) and is especially good at adjusting ride height due to load. I personally love it for comfort and daily driving in NYC and long high speed highway hauls. Many options to fix it, I replaced the ride height part and the compressor only! Bags are Firestone OEM never replaced. This feature is a big part of this car. Don't make it go away unless have a reason to. :D
