So I am sure if I search all the threads there are some for fluid recommendations but figured not just for me but anyone, having it all in one thread. Doing the engine swap next week, as I am picking up the motor this week. so going to put new fluids in everything, oil (obviously), trans, rear diff, brake, power steering, antifreeze, etc. anyone have recommendations, especially because it is winter and don’t know what is going to be the best for winter. Thanks for the help and advice.

I won't use anything other than the Motorcraft trans fluid as there are so many different formulations today, don't know if you can get that over there easily enough, but stay away from ATF labeled as universal and stick with a known quality brand in your country.

For the motor oil use 5W30 year round, the only reason that 5W20 is specified is due to US fuel economy regulations. Both are 5W so their cold start flow is the same.
