First let me say I love the Upgrade. The car stops way better than before.
In real world driving, after 20,000 miles, the NAPA ceramic pads I used were completely worn to the metal. They also left a lot of dust on the wheels. I didn't expect them to wear so fast as the OEM's lasted over 100,000 miles the first time and 70,000 the second. I also had to replace the rotors again.
Since I needed the pads fast, I purchased new Centric Semi-Metallic pads from a vendor next door to my work. $42 + tax.
The new rotors came from CARQUEST via the shop I had the car at. I only paid $50 each witch was virtually his cost.
These pads are very quiet and the car stops on the dime again.
Thanks,
