I have been browsing around here since getting my Marauder and am wanting about doing the JMOD to my 4R70.

I am a machinist with full access to a machine shop and read the PDF on this site and it gives tolerances about the hole sizes and I have a couple questions.

1) Does it matter if I err on the small or large sizes of these opened up holes?

2) Does it matter if I use a reamer to get a perfectly sized hole with a very smooth wall?

3) Does anybody have a CNC program that I can just pump into my mill and make a perfect plate for our cars?

Long story short, I just want to do this job as well as I can because I have the tools necessary to do a perfect job.

Thanks.

Your over thinking an hour and a half long job IMO.

Get a "TUFF" plate and follow the online instructions.

Your over thinking an hour and a half long job IMO. +1; don't reinvent the wheel, or in this case, the mod. It has worked well for years as designed.
