I'll have owned my Marauder 13 years this Friday 11-25-16!!:D

This happens to be the longest I've ever owned a car and perhaps it actually owns me???:eek:

Owning a car that long, it actually is part of the family

This coming April my Dad will have owned his HIGH SCHOOL car 47 years
He bought it in 1970, i was probably conceived in it LOL

Neil ( 8uwith6 ) on this site, his dad bought a GT6 + triumph in 1972 and still has it

Strange is our fathers still own these cars this long:

Both cars bought at Chevy dealers
Both cars are red
Both cars are manuals
Both cars used as DD in college
Both our dads married RED HEADS lmao

I bought my 1970 Boss 302 in April of 1970. I still have it.
I bought my '69 Shelby GT-500 in 1972 at the beginning of the gas shortage, and I still have it.
I bought the '89 GT in October of 89, and I still have it.
I bought the '04 MM in April of 2004, and I still have it.

There are members of my Mustang club who are the original owners of their 1964 1/2 Mustangs. And they still have them!

I had My 03 Grand Marquis 9yrs n let it go, I miss it. I plan on keeping the Marauder forever now, just need to park it in barn somewhere so I don't drive it!

Great cars are just like great dogs... they need to run to keep fit. Use your car...don't abuse the car, but definitely use it. Perhaps a cruise night...or a parade...or a family outing....whatever.

Locking your prize away is like placing the Mona Lisa in a vault.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! the anniversary date for my MM is 12/17/04 :beer: I have only owned 3 vehicles from new the 79 F 150 went to crusher a 1 owner truck. 96 F 250 still my DD will go to crusher 1 owner someday . MM thinking I'll keep till I'm to old to drive. Motor on ! :D
