Hi All:
I'm starting to hear grinding at low speed coming from the rear after the car is warmed up
.
Time for a rebuild.

It's already got 4:10s, so I'm looking for a parts list of what to replace.

My MM's racing days are over, just looking for a stock rebuild unless someone can convince me 31 spline has a benefit on a car that gets driven 90 miles a week highway.

Thanks,
Jim

No need for 31 spline axles.

There are a few posts about what parts to order.

RockAuto has a rebuild kit.

I'd suggest:

All the seals, including axle seals
All the bearings
RTV gasket maker
Red thread locker
Carbon fiber clutches.
Synthetic gear oil (70w140)
Solid sleeve - not a crush sleeve
Aluminum cover with bearing supports - holds more fluid, easy to drain / refill and better cooling
Bearing stud kit - replaces the bolts - much stronger

Find a good shop to do it.
