Got my hands on a set of the new 18" steel wheels that the 2013+ Ford interceptor sedan and utility come with. I knew before purchasing these that the hub bore was smaller than the 03+ panther / crown Vic / marauder hub bore.

The stock hub bore on the 03+ panthers is roughly 70.3 mm and the new steelies use a roughly 63.3 mm hub bore.

Is there a way to safely enlarge the hub bore on these wheels allowing them to fit over the larger hubs but still keeping them hub and lug centric? Was looking at having a machine shop do the enlarging.

If it's can't be done safely I'll end up selling them, got them for a steal and no loss if they can't find be used.

Local guy had machine shop cut 3-4 mm out of some edge wheels for his MGM

Working fine

Were they aluminum or steel wheels? The aluminum wheels seem to have more material near the hub to take off, the steel wheels have a small flange near the hub which would be mostly gone with machining.

If you're gonna get rid of them... I call dibs.
Seriously though, I'll take em if you're not gonna use them.
