Sure

Read the fine print. It does not contain ANTI ballooning plates, but I'm sure they are available

So, if you were to get the trans and converter hot, or just over time... it'll grow and tear up your front pump of the trans,... and or shove your crankshaft away from the transmission and break your crank or whipe out your thrust bearing

What is that?

I did a quick search and all that popped up were other torque converters.

Is his anti ballooning plate inside the converter itself? Could I take it to a shop and have them install one?

At the bottom is says you can order with ballon plates... don't I want anti ballon plates?

I'm confused.

Can someone clarify?

Buy a converter with that design

Ask the company how much for that converter with antibalooning design

I'm curious to see how much more the price is

Dom, call up these guys. They won't steer you wrong. Been running one of their converters since 2005 with no problems.

Thought the balloon plate was for really high horsepower cars?

Ballooning can also be caused by spinning the TC too fast. This is why the P71 Crown Vics (and the Marauder) got a smaller-diameter TC than the civilian versions (and the Grand Marquis).

Notice how it doesn't say what horsepower it can handle?

Thanks!

I had a P.I. converter before and it cooked my transmission within a year. It wasn't built at the time, it was just stock. After the rebuild it was solid for 8 hard years.

Hmmmm decisions, decisions.
