Hey All,
Its been a while since I have posted, been working a lot. Little back story, this car was my best friends. He bought this bad boy brand new in 2003 at a ford dealership in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Ten years and 95,000kms later he was going to trade it in, knowing i am a car/ford guy he offered it to me for the same amount they were going to give him for trade in, I of course accepted and sent a buddy on a plane to go get it. After the 3100km trip and a million dollars in fuel, it made it home.
I put the car in storage next to my mustang and it sat for over a year. After finishing a few projects for others I decided that its time to rip it all apart and clean it up. The interior is mint, 10/10. The paint is trashed and will get sent for paint shortly after I complete all the mods and dress up parts.
I brought the car home last week, and of course... it snowed.

Drove it into the garage, cranked the heat to 70deg and let it sit for 2 days to get all the chill out of it.
Here's Where we are currently.

My Dad backed the boat into the grill, didn't damage anything but the grill, already have a new one, will get painted once I am finished cleaning the engine bay and making it look good.
Sending everything out to be powder coated, it is going to look like the engine we built for my mustang.

If anyone would like any HOW-TO's as i put it all back together please let me know while its a part.

Just as a side note can you post a pic of the bottom of the intake valley(between the 2 heads). I'm curious to see if there is a square or diamond design in the casting.
Thanks and yes keep us all posted on your progress.

Great project! Knowing how rare Canadian Marauders are it's definitely worth saving. Two folks in our European Marauders club have Canadian cars, they are easier to import over here due to their km/h cluster.
95k km are just under 60k miles for our non metric friends so I would still consider that low mileage.

Sorry no breakdown of colours of the Canadian Marauders .
Total production of Marauders for 2003 / 2004 was 11,052 .
Of the total 11,052 Marauders built only 471 were for Canada :canada:

Some of the info is here on this forum but links are broken to Motorcity Marauders , I remember reading it on Motocity Marauders when checking out how many were here .

Not sure what happened in 2004 but watching cross-country listings for over 8 years i have only seen 1 2004 listed. There was a blue count done some years ago on this forum, at least 15. No DTR's as they are all 2004's, there should be 30 or 40.

I bought my black Canadian 2003 MARAUDER in 2009 from the first owner. I drive it from Quebec City to Fort Lauderdale, FL every years since. Leave Canada November first and back on May first. Now, 169,000 on the odometer. Cream puff condition and drive like new. I'm 77 and I hope my MARAUDER will survive me. I wonder how many Canadian MARAUDERS from the 471 built are still on the road ? So, mine is 1/471 !!!
