I've searched and read where some said they Installed it over the factory a pilar cover. Any advice on this. Mine should be in today.

it uses self tapping screws into the original piece so it will leave two holes in the original a pillar trim. either find a spare if you want to keep that piece unmarred

Also leave extra wire so if you have to take it off in the future to change a guage or the bulbs you won't have a problem.

The Lotec is made to install over the factory trim due to the fact the original trim is part of the safety features. Notice that there are no supports on the inside.

yes, cause the interior is dark charcoal
