certain marauder specific parts are required to be switched over.

I mean to say would it be a direct fit

It. So your asking if a 4.6 dohc from a mustang is a direct fit?

Absolutely it's a direct fit.

Nope. Same junk pistons and piece of crap pencil rods

Oh lmao. So I can basically rebuild my mm with better inners.

No, but you can build it with better internal components.

Not entirely true. 03-04 cobra engines have beefier internals. Manley or Mahle rods...can't remember which. Quite a few members have done swaps and are high horsepower.

Only pre-2003 were same crappy internals as the MM engine.

Ok. What's a site I can get it from

Yeah no ****. Everyone who knows cars knows that. Even my 65 year old mother knows that, and she doesn't even own a ford

slow down there, champ. I know you know the difference. this was for clarity for the OP and not directed toward you. your answer to his statement wasn't clear.

My statement was perfectly clear.

Yours, not so much...

Even you question what you posted lmao

This wasn't a forced induction longblock thread, or what was built with better/stronger parts. Will a dohc cobra longblock work? Yes
Same junk as ours and that's the honest truth

Light bulb goes off from OP. Read post #9

Anymore questions? :)

You're right - you did answer his original question. But see post #6 and post #8, where thread evolved into whether cobra engines had better internals. My clarification was to post #8, which was your answer whether cobra engines had better internals. Not all cobra engines had the same junk as ours and that's the honest truth.

Happy to discuss this further if you like. :)

to the op. yes an 03-04 cobra engine will fit but you have to swap timing cover and you will need a 8 bolt flywheel. for the auto trans to work. if you going the supercharger route you'll need cot and eaton swap brackets. jerry makes them.

Ahh yes. Suggest a 03 cobra motor for a NA marauder. Makes perfect sense coming from a expert like you :) low compression NA, friggin sweet

Now was that mahle rods and Manley pistons? Enter sarcastic joke here

Thank you for insulting my intelligence and knowledge. You make a factually incorrect statement and then cast it on me. We don't know each other. You know nothing about my knowledge of mod motors or differences between them. When did the topic ever become about compression? If you want to get more technical, the earlier cobra motors (both 96-98 and 99-01) had different cams, but according to you "it's all the same junk." Go you.

Enough with detailing this thread. Send a PM if you want to continue this childish banter. :)

Let's just settle on 96-01 same ****, 03-04 worlds better but a gutless turd without a blower..

OP, I suggest you do some research here as this subject has been beat to death a billion times before..

But you won't, nobody does..
