So I picked up a bare block with a crankshaft a few months back, but needs an in-line bore. Was told it was 1000 euro just to fix it before ordering parts to put the engine together. I still have it but bought a motor from MartyO. Just wondering, do yall think it is worth it to fix it and use this one as a spare or even build it up for performance (aka bore, etc.) or should I just make it into a coffee table?

I'd build it, make is a spare long block, then store it in your living room as a coffee table,
Win win.

4.6L blocks aren't that hard to come by , I would buy another one ready to build.

1000 £ for a .020 or .010 bore and not anything else?

I would use it as a coffe table, planter or save it for later......
